Welcome

May the Lord help us to live in a holy way during this Holy Week in the remembrance of his holy Passion. We bless you, Lord Jesus; you loved us and offered yourself for us. Give us the grace to take part in your Passion by taking our part in the pain and suffering of the world. And on the day of your eternal Passover, when you will come again in glory, awaken us for the feast of your love. We ask this humbly, Lord, you who suffered with us and who reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit in joy forever and ever. Amen. (Lucien Deiss)

Parish First Friday Devotions to the Sacred Heart Beginning on December 7th

Parishioners are encouraged to join together in prayer for 9 consecutive First Fridays to pray for parish unity, healing for the faithful, and wisdom for Bishop Gainer in selecting a new pastor for St. Margaret Mary.  This prayer initiative, which began in October, includes praying the Litany of the Sacred Heart at the end of the First Friday 12:15 Mass, and also includes a First Friday Holy Hour in the Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel from 7 - 8 p.m.  There will be time for private and shared prayer in this way that brings honor to the Sacred Heart as encouraged by our patroness, Saint Margaret Mary.  The First Friday devotion usually includes reception of Holy Communion for nine consecutive First Fridays.  Even if you are not able to be with us in person, please join us in a spirit of prayer.

Parish Visitors

Parish Visitors

Parish Visitors are parish members who visit sick parishioners in their homes, nursing homes or care facilities, bringing prayer and communion to those who are unable to regularly participate in parish life. These volunteers also send greeting cards, provide transportation, respite as possible, and deliver gifts at Christmas and Easter. Parish Visitors meet after the First Friday 12:15 a.m. Mass in the Divine Mercy Room.

If you or someone you know would like to be visited by a Parish Visitor, or you would like to know more about becoming one, contact the parish office at (717) 233-3062

Hospital Patients

Please contact the rectory at (717) 233-3062 to let us know that you are or will be in the hospital, or ask your family or neighbors to contact us. Father Charles Persing, staff and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion want to visit and pray with and for you, especially while you are unable to join us for Mass. Please inform us so that your parish family may offer their spiritual support to you and your family.

Join us for Mass

The Church of St. Margaret Mary also provides pastoral care to residents at Kindred Place, Arden Courts, Colonial Park Care Center and the Jewish Home with monthly celebration of Eucharist as well as regular visits to our parish members who are residents there. Please check the church bulletin for a list of dates and times for Masses at these locations and join us. The residents would love to see you.
