In the Catholic Church the Mass is the center of the prayer life of the faith community through which the blessings and benefits of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross continue to flow for God’s people. It is a commendable thing to call on God’s beneficence for the expiation of sins through His gift of mercy and the healing effects of His grace for loved ones living and deceased and for special intentions we may have.

About Us

Welcome to St. Margaret Mary Parish, Church and School. We are a Roman Catholic parish within the Diocese of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with 1500 families. St. Margaret Mary Parish serves its members and the public through over 40 ministries, committees, groups and organizations and works that promote a spiritual faith formation, excellence in education and fellowship with the community.

For more than 60 years, St. Margaret Mary Parish has been a strong and vital community. Our campuses include a new church dedicated in April 2010, at 2800 Paxton Church Road in Susquehanna Township; and a pre-K-8 school, parish administrative offices, convent, adoration chapel and youth center located at 2848 Herr Street in Penbrook. The original church building on Herr Street has undergone a renovation to become a gymnasium and multi-purpose activity space, which opened in the fall of 2010 adjacent to the school at the Herr Street campus.
